News - Green Apple Day, AEGT
Posted 11/3/14
“Green Apple is a global movement to put all children in schools where they have clean and healthy air to breathe, where energy and resources are conserved, and where they can be inspired to dream of a brighter future.”
It was with this thought in mind that the Hartford Public High family came together on Saturday, September 28, 2014, along with local business and community organizations to continue the process of “greening” our school. See related article by clicking here.

Good news! Dave Mangus, the Nepal 2.0 advisor and AEGT Teacher of the Year, created a DonorsChoose web page to raise funds to pay for a test battery for the Nepal 2.0 project. Funding for this was not in the original budget, but Mr. Mangus felt this was an important teaching tool, and an important piece of the project. That piece of the project is now fully funded thanks to the generosity of donors from all over the world. Thank you everyone who donated!
